Terms of Service

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement. You must provide accurate information, protect your credentials, and promptly notify us of suspected unauthorized use. You are responsible for activity performed through your account.
The service
Frontend Interviews provides AI-assisted mock interviews, coding and system-design practice, guided courses, evidence-linked reports, and optional hiring-team assessment workflows. Features may change as the product develops. We may impose reasonable technical and usage limits to protect the service and other users.
AI outputs and no guarantees
AI-generated dialogue, tasks, transcripts, scores, summaries, and recommendations may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for a particular purpose. The service does not provide legal, employment, educational, or professional advice and does not guarantee interview performance, employment, candidate quality, or hiring outcomes.
Hiring-team responsibilities
Organizations must use lawful and job-related criteria, provide required notices, respond to accommodation requests, conduct meaningful human review, and comply with employment, discrimination, privacy, and automated-decision laws. An AI score must not be the sole basis for an employment decision.
Promotional minutes and prepaid credits
Eligible accounts may receive promotional AI time, measured only while the AI session is connected. After a one-time purchase, metered usage is deducted from a prepaid credit wallet according to the server-side AI cost plus the disclosed markup. Credit-pack prices and credited amounts are configured separately. Credits are not a bank account, have no cash value, do not earn interest, and do not renew automatically.
Payments and refunds
Payments are processed by the provider presented at checkout. You authorize the stated one-time charge. Except where required by law or expressly stated at checkout, purchased credits are non-refundable once used. If a transaction is reversed, disputed, or refunded, associated credits may be removed from the wallet.
Your content and permissions
You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, process, transmit, reproduce, and display that content only as needed to operate, secure, support, and improve the service. You represent that you have the rights needed to submit the content.
Acceptable use
You may not misuse the service, interfere with its operation, evade metering or access controls, probe for vulnerabilities without written permission, reverse engineer protected systems except where law permits, automate abusive traffic, impersonate others, violate intellectual-property or privacy rights, or use the service for unlawful discrimination or other illegal activity.
Our intellectual property
The service, product design, software, branding, and documentation are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by applicable law. These Terms provide a limited right to use the service; they do not transfer ownership of our intellectual property.
Third-party services
The service relies on AI, cloud infrastructure, email, analytics, and payment providers. Their services may be unavailable or changed, and your use of their features may also be governed by their terms.
Suspension and termination
You may stop using the service at any time and can request account deletion through account settings. We may suspend or terminate access for material violations, security risk, fraud, nonpayment, legal requirements, or conduct that harms the service or others.
Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost data, or employment decisions. Our aggregate liability arising from the service will not exceed the greater of $100 or the amount you paid us during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.
Changes and contact
We may update these Terms as the service or law changes. Material changes will be posted with a new effective date and additional notice when required. Questions may be sent to legal@frontendinterviews.com.
