Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of Frontend Interviews by individual candidates and organizations in the United States. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.
Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement. You must provide accurate information, protect your credentials, and promptly notify us of suspected unauthorized use. You are responsible for activity performed through your account.
The service
Frontend Interviews provides AI-assisted mock interviews, coding and system-design practice, evidence-linked reports, and optional hiring-team assessment workflows. Features may change as the product develops. We may impose reasonable technical and usage limits to protect the service and other users.
AI outputs and no guarantees
AI-generated dialogue, tasks, transcripts, scores, summaries, and recommendations may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for a particular purpose. The service does not provide legal, employment, educational, or professional advice and does not guarantee interview performance, employment, candidate quality, or hiring outcomes.
Hiring-team responsibilities
Organizations must use lawful and job-related criteria, provide required notices, respond to accommodation requests, conduct meaningful human review, and comply with employment, discrimination, privacy, and automated-decision laws. An AI score must not be the sole basis for an employment decision.
Promotional minutes and prepaid credits
Eligible new accounts may receive promotional Gemini interview time, measured only while Gemini is connected. The current allowance is shown inside the authenticated account. After a one-time purchase, metered usage is deducted from a prepaid credit wallet according to the server-side AI cost and disclosed service margin. Credits are not a bank account, have no cash value, do not earn interest, and do not renew automatically. Prices, taxes, and any purchase-specific terms are presented at checkout.
Payments and refunds
Payments are processed by the payment provider presented at checkout. You authorize the stated one-time charge. Except where required by law or expressly stated at checkout, purchased credits are non-refundable once used. If a transaction is reversed, disputed, or refunded, associated credits may be removed from the wallet.
Your content and permissions
You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, process, transmit, reproduce, and display that content only as needed to operate, secure, support, and improve the service. You represent that you have the rights needed to submit the content and must not upload confidential third-party material without authorization.
Acceptable use
You may not misuse the service, interfere with its operation, evade metering or access controls, probe for vulnerabilities without written permission, reverse engineer protected systems except where law permits, automate abusive traffic, impersonate others, violate intellectual-property or privacy rights, or use the service for unlawful discrimination or other illegal activity.
Our intellectual property
The service, product design, software, branding, and documentation are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by applicable law. These Terms provide a limited right to use the service; they do not transfer ownership of our intellectual property.
Third-party services
The service relies on third parties such as Google Gemini, cloud infrastructure providers, and payment processors. Their services may be unavailable or changed, and your use of their features may also be governed by their terms.
Suspension and termination
You may stop using the service at any time and can request account deletion through account settings. We may suspend or terminate access for material violations, security risk, fraud, nonpayment, legal requirements, or conduct that harms the service or others. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain effective.
Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is" and "as available." We disclaim implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost data, or employment decisions. Our aggregate liability arising from the service will not exceed the greater of $100 or the amount you paid us during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.
Changes and contact
