This Privacy Policy explains how Frontend Interviews ("Frontend Interviews," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when candidates and hiring teams in the United States use our website and services.
Information we collect
We collect information you provide, including your name, email address, account type, experience level, target role, selected technologies, interview preferences, company information, and support communications. During an interview or practice session, we may process voice audio, transcripts, code, test results, whiteboard content, workspace events, rubric evidence, and feedback.
Usage, device, and transaction information
We collect service usage events, session duration, AI usage, credit-wallet activity, approximate device and browser information, security and integrity signals, and diagnostic logs. Our payment provider processes payment details. We receive transaction identifiers, product, amount, currency, status, and related billing metadata, but we do not store full payment-card numbers.
How we use information
We use personal information to create and secure accounts; provide realtime mock interviews, practice sessions, system-design exercises, reports, and hiring workflows; personalize content; calculate usage and prepaid-credit balances; process transactions; prevent fraud and abuse; provide support; improve reliability; and comply with legal obligations.
AI processing and service providers
Interview and practice content may be transmitted to Google Gemini to generate realtime dialogue, tasks, mentoring, and feedback. We use managed cloud services for authentication and application data, a third-party payment processor for checkout and transaction processing, and infrastructure providers for hosting and delivery. These providers process information under their own terms and privacy commitments.
Hiring and automated-output safeguards
AI-generated questions, transcripts, scores, summaries, and recommendations may be incomplete or incorrect. They are intended to support—not replace—human judgment. Hiring teams are responsible for job-related evaluation criteria, candidate notices, accommodations, human review, and compliance with employment and automated-decision laws.
How we disclose information
We disclose information to service providers that help operate the service, to a hiring organization when a candidate completes that organization’s invited assessment, when you direct us to share information, and when required to protect users, enforce our agreements, complete a corporate transaction, or comply with law. We do not sell personal information for money or use it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Retention and security
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, honor the retention preference available in account settings, maintain transaction and security records, resolve disputes, and comply with law. We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.
Your privacy choices and U.S. state rights
Account settings allow you to export certain data, select a retention preference, and request account deletion. Depending on your state, you may also have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of personal information and to appeal a denied request. We will not discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right.
Children’s privacy
Frontend Interviews is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child provided information to us, contact us so we can investigate and delete it where required.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the service or applicable law changes. We will post the revised policy with a new effective date and provide additional notice when required.
